- Art Jewelry Magazine
- The September '06 issue of Art Jewelry included my article "Water Works" describing the technique of Water Etching on Metal Clay. There are a couple of clarifications to note... sometimes things are edited in ways that change the meaning. The term leather-hard was used in the construction step, which may not be sufficiently dry for sanding. In addition, the piece should be completely (bone) dry before drawing with your pencil or painting wax resist onto the clay. Drawing on leather-hard clay, (even lightly) may dent or scratch the surface. Painting wax on damp clay would extend drying time.

- In the resources section, please note that my preferred wax resist is actually the Mayco brand, available from www.wholelottawhimsy.com
